CHICAGO, September 7, 2016 – Todd Shapiro, President & CEO of the Illinois CPA Society (icpas.org), has been named to AccountingToday Magazine’s new list of the Top 100 Most Influential People. The magazine’s annual list for 2016 describes honorees as, “The thought leaders and visionaries who are shaping the accounting profession.”
In describing Shapiro’s impact on the profession, AccountingToday said, “Shapiro is one of those using his state society as an incubator for new ideas in a range of areas (professional education is a big one), while at the same time advocating for more innovation in the profession nationwide.”
