Advancing Women in Accounting Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Illinois CPA Society's Women’s Executive Committee to create advancement opportunities for women in the CPA profession in Illinois. This scholarship program is supported by individuals, CPA firms, and companies who are committed to giving back to help ensure the success of other women. Multiple scholarships of up to $4,000 each are available.

Eligibility:

  • Gender is female.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential.
  • Senior or graduate student for the current academic year.

The Illinois CPA Society Accounting Scholarship Program is funded by the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois. The scholarships recognize scholastic achievement and leadership qualities in students who plan to become CPAs. The scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate strong academic performance and financial need. Students enrolled in an Illinois college or university, pursuing an accounting degree with plans to become a CPA can apply.
