Basic Trusts: Taxation of Trusts and Preparing
Form 1041*
This workshop will cover why trusts are created and key
concepts you will need to know while preparing Form 1041. Sample trust language
will be studied for the purpose of trust classification and attendees will spend
a portion of the workshop preparing a basic Form 1041.

- Define basic concepts such as distributable net income and trust
accounting income
