Sample Speaker Contract

This agreement is made by and between the Illinois CPA Foundation (ICPAF) and Speaker:

Speaker agrees to the following program content, date and location:

ICPAF will arrange overnight accommodations and email a confirmation. All charges will be billed directly to the Illinois CPA Foundation. Flight arrangements are to be handled by the speaker and reimbursed by ICPAF.

All expenses incurred by the speaker in relation to the above event will be reimbursed by the Illinois CPA Foundation following the receipt of the speaker’s Expense Report Form. The Expense Report Form will be provided to the speaker at the END of the conference.

Please note:  Due to the IRS per diem limitation, we will require detailed food receipts in all instances.

The speaker shall receive complimentary registration for the entire program and is eligible to receive CPE credit for presenting and preparing his or her session. The CPE Credit Report Form will be provided to the Speaker at the END of the conference.

The speaker agrees to make known specific requests for his or her accommodations and presentation at least 3 WEEKS prior to the conference and to submit program materials and/or handouts ONE MONTH prior to the conference so that materials may be prepared without delay. If ICPAF has not received materials two weeks before the conference, it is the Speaker’s responsibility to provide handouts to attendees.

Any change, addition or deletion to this agreement must be submitted to all parties concerned immediately. All changes will require verification unless involving unforeseen emergency or removal by ICPAF for violation of ICPAF standards of professionalism and conduct.

Any change, addition or deletion to this agreement must be submitted to all parties concerned immediately upon such change, addition or deletion. Such change, addition or deletion will then be verified. Deletions may involve a verifiable but unforeseen emergency or removal by ICPAF for violation of ICPAF standards for professionalism and conduct. If this speaking engagement is canceled by either ICPAF or Speaker, ICPAF is not required to pay an honorarium in part or full.
