CPE Transcripts
The Illinois CPA Foundation (Foundation) provides both an Official Transcript and a personal ICPAS CPE Record of the educational programs you have taken via the Illinois CPA Foundation. Both the Official Transcript and your CPE Record are benefits of your ICPAS membership.
CPE Record
Your CPE Record shows both the CPE you have taken from the Foundation as well as any pending Foundation programs for which you are registered. This record serves a useful way to track your program registration and your completed CPE. Once you have completed a program, the pending CPE becomes a part of your official transcript.
Official Transcript
Your Official Transcript contains CPE information covering the most recent reporting period for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. It provides an overview of the number of CPE credits you have accumulated via the Illinois CPA Foundation, based on reporting year (2009, 2012, etc.). You should view your Official Transcript regularly to ensure that you are on target to complete 120 hours for the reporting period.
It is crucial that you review your Official Transcript to ensure that it contains all of the programs you have attended that were sponsored by the Illinois CPA Foundation. If you believe that your transcript does not reflect all the programs you have taken through the Foundation, please complete and return the Transcript Correction Form.
Only programs taken through the Illinois CPA Foundation are recorded on your Official Transcript.
- Your transcript does not reflect self-study courses purchased through vendors advertised by the Illinois CPA Foundation.
- The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation accepts the Illinois CPA Foundation's Official Transcript. It can be submitted to them with your CPA License renewal form.
- No other proof of attendance is required for programs listed in the transcript.
- The transcripts are provided to you at no cost as a member benefit.
- If you have taken CPE from another sponsor, you will need to contact them for proof of your attendance at their programs.
