The State of the Law on Cannabis in Illinois: “How to Stay out of the Weeds with Illinois and the Feds”

Marijuana is an interesting and important issue today. Medical marijuana! Recreational marijuana! Industrial Hemp/CBD! The legalization of cannabis has medical benefits, recreational benefits, and is a potential revenue source for the State of Illinois and communities.

Our speakers will address a variety of relevant topics, including:
- State of legalization in Illinois and possible legalization of recreational use.
- 280E and CBD; the “two-business” strategy.
- How does Illinois law relate to Federal prohibition of cannabis?
- Possible changes in federal law to limit restrictions on cannabis.
- What employers can and cannot do to enforce their drug-free workplace policies.
Continuing Education Credits: CPE 1.0 hour CLE 1.5 hour
Time: Buffet breakfast and registration from 7:30 a.m.; presentation 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Cost:  $25 plus your professional business card at the door and includes a full buffet breakfast - Early registration is always encouraged.
