Looking for volunteer activity ideas?
Websites such as www.idealist.org, www.volunteermatch.org, www.createthegood.org, and
www.onebrick.org can be great places to learn more about not-for-profit organizations and
activities in your community. You could contact your local park district, library, or animal
shelter and ask how you can help.
Last year, over 1,000 CPAs in every corner of the state assisted over 150 different organizations with a variety of activities ranging from assembling care packages for military personnel to cleaning up a local park.
