To meet the growing needs of the profession, the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) annually holds a number of learning events delivered in a variety of formats, including our annual Summit, specialty conferences, courses, workshops, and webcasts. ICPAS strives to deliver high quality learning experiences that meet the changing needs of a diverse profession.
To that end, ICPAS is always pleased to consider new speakers and topics to keep our programs fresh and relevant. A summary of some of our events and speaker requirements appear below. Audience Demographic
The attendees are CPAs and other financial professionals working in either professional service firms or corporate finance/business.
Topics
ICPAS is always on the lookout for new trending topics to supplement our traditional offerings. We are especially interested in case studies and best practices – as well as topics that provide actionable take-always at the session’s conclusion.

Speaker Qualifications
Speakers should be senior management level (i.e. partner, vice president, etc.). Our audiences have 10+ years experience and expect to hear from someone at their level or higher. Speakers should have a proven track record for knowledge and presentation skills. We require ratings of 4.0 or above (out of 5) in both categories from prior speaking engagements at the Society or other events.
Speaker Expenses
The Illinois CPA Society reimburses all travel and meal expenses. Hotel rooms, when needed, are reserved and paid for by the Illinois CPA Society.
