Taking the CPA Exam

Accountants who have graduated with 150 hours of approved coursework and have been approved by the Illinois Board of Examiners are eligible to sit for the CPA Exam—a computer-based test that testifies to their knowledge of generally accepted accounting and auditing principles and standards.

Ethics Exam

    Required exam on Rules of Professional Conduct for all Illinois candidates who sit for and pass all four parts of the CPA exam on or after January 1, 2005
