To update your license information, such as a name or address, visit Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation website.
To reactivate or restore your licensure or registration, after it has expired or been placed on inactive status, you can request reinstatement or restoration from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) via their website. Reinstatement is for licenses or registrations that have been inactive or lapsed for less than 5 years, and restoration is for licenses and registrations that have been inactive or lapsed for more than 5 years.
To change your license from active to inactive status, complete and submit the Request to Change License Status from Active to Inactive form found on the IDFPR website.
