The Career Launch Symposium is a one-day, in-person experience designed to
bridge the gap between early undergraduate students and the accounting
profession. Through practical, hands-on programming, participants will
gain meaningful exposure to accounting career paths, build foundational
professional skills, and connect directly with industry professionals.
Students
will leave the experience better prepared to navigate the recruiting
process with confidence and position themselves competitively for future
internship opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Career Launch Symposium, applicants must:
- Be a freshman, sophomore, or first-year transfer student during the 2026–27 academic year
- Be currently pursuing or planning to pursue a major in accounting
- Be enrolled at an Illinois college or university
- Be able to attend the full program in person on August 20, 2026
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident
