Created in 2004 by members of the Illinois CPA Society’s Women’s Executive Committee, the Advancing Women in Accounting Scholarship Fund supports female senior and graduate accounting students across Illinois who demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership qualities.
This scholarship reflects the community’s commitment to advancing the next generation of women leaders in the profession. Supported by donations from individuals, accounting firms, and organizations, multiple scholarships of up to $4,000 are awarded annually to inspire, support, and recognize aspiring CPAs.
The CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois offers a variety of scholarships for accounting students pursuing the CPA credential. To support this scholarships, donors should specify “Advancing Women in Accounting” on their donation form.
