CHICAGO, July 21, 2026 – The Illinois CPA Society’s (ICPAS) premier event for accounting and finance professionals, ICPAS SUMMIT, will bring together professionals from across the industry for two days of practical insights, fresh perspectives, and conversations focused on the issues shaping the profession's future.
The event will take place Aug. 26-27, 2026, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., with both in-person and virtual attendance options. A pre-conference Quality Management Workshop will be offered in person on Aug. 25, 2026, from 1-5 p.m.
Built around the theme, “Insights Ignited,” this year’s program offers access to nearly 50 educational sessions led by thought leaders in accounting and auditing, corporate finance, leadership and workforce, tax and strategic advisory, and technology and transformation.
The opening session, “Inside What’s Shaping Today’s CPA Profession,” presented by ICPAS President and CEO Geoffrey Brown, CAE, and ICPAS Board of Directors Chair Mark Wolfgram, CPA, will explore the issues, opportunities, and challenges driving the profession’s future.
Additional session highlights include “U.S. Economic Outlook: A New Landscape,” presented by Jeffrey Korzenik, chief economist at Fifth Third Bank, and David Snyder, president and CEO of The Economic Club of Chicago; “Structuring Your Team for Success: Talent, Culture, and Capability,” presented by Valeria Gutowski, CPA, senior vice president, finance and chief accounting officer at Norstella; and “Tech Update: Navigating What’s Next,” presented by technologist Randy Johnston, MCS, executive vice president of K2 Enterprises.
