CHICAGO, June 10, 2019 – The Illinois CPA Society recently honored Chinedu C. Iwuora, CPA, Audit & Assurance Manager, Deloitte & Touche LLP with its 2019 Lester H. McKeever Jr. Emerging Leader in Advancing Diversity Award. Iwuora was recognized for his leadership and commitment to fostering a culture of diversity within the accounting profession.

He received the award on Tuesday, June 4 at the Illinois CPA Society’s annual Leadership Recognition and Awards Dinner in Chicago.

Iwuora’s areas of professional expertise include real estate acquisition accounting, real estate valuation testing and discounted cash flow model testing. Additionally, he currently serves as the president of the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).

Iwuora earned his undergraduate degree from Chowan University in Murfreesboro, N.C. and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
