Learn to improve your governmental financial statement and Auditors’ opinion preparation skills by reviewing issued Illinois local government financial statements and Auditors’ reports for compliance with GAAP and GAAS.

Review Illinois local government reports, including counties, municipalities, townships, school districts and other special districts. Attendees will spend dedicated time performing advanced technical reviews of financial reports that were previously reviewed by other course participants, including the basic financial statements, notes to the financial statements, individual fund financial statements, and Auditors’ reports.

This course is designed for Preparers, editors or reviewers of local governmental financial reports with more experience in the report preparation and review process.
