Join us for an overview of the AICPA’s Quality Management (QM) Standards. Though only firms conducting audits under the Statements on Auditing Standards (SAS), engagements under the Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS), or engagements under the Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAEs) must comply with the QM Standards, the basic concepts within the standards are important for every firm to consider. Considering these concepts can help all firms think through and strengthen practice management by considering where risks to the firm might exist and what strategies can address these risks.
