Jennifer Casacchia, CPA, is a director with Sikich LLP’s not-for-profit and higher education practices team at the firm’s headquarters in Naperville, Illinois. She has more than 20 years of experience working extensively with not-for-profit organizations, including associations, cultural organizations, educational institutions, social service organizations, and a variety of other not-for-profit organizations. Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Jennifer serves as a member of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Advisory Council, the ICPAS’s Not-for-Profit Content Advisory Group and the ICPAS’s Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Central College. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.

Sarah Eddy, CPA, is a manager at Mann Weitz & Associates LLC. She has more than 18 years of experience in public accounting. She manages audits, reviews and compilations for nonprofit clients. Sarah’s nonprofit experience includes social welfare organizations, associations, educational institutions and healthcare. Sarah has performed single audits under Uniform Guidance as well as other governmental audits. In May 2024, Sarah joined the Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee of the Illinois CPA Society.

Joshua Bream, CPA, CFE is a senior manager in the audit and assurance services practice of Grant Thornton LLP. Joshua is part of Grant Thornton LLP's not-for-profit sector practice and has a decade of experience serving not-for-profit organizations, primarily with social service organizations, religious organizations, foundations, trade associations, and member organizations, including performing single sudits. Joshua helps his clients navigate the complexities of transactions, including the adoption of new accounting pronouncements. Joshua serves as the chair of the audit and accounting subcommittee of the Illinois CPA Society’s not-for-profit organizations committee. Joshua also has experience serving privately held companies in the construction, service, and manufacturing/distribution industries.
