RENEWALS
CPAs and firms licensed as Public
Accounting (PA) Firms must renew their CPA licenses and registrations
every three years. These renewals are on a set schedule set by the
licensing body, Illinois Department of Financial and Professional
Regulation.
Licenses are renewed online on the website of the
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. In lieu of
paper reminders/renewal forms, IDFPR has implemented an electronic
license reminder notification process. Licensees are strongly encouraged
to visit IDFPR's online address change webpage to provide a current email address and ensure contact information is up-to-date and accurate.

Individual License (Must Complete 120 hours of CPE, which includes 4
hours of ethics and one hour of sexual harassment prevention training)
