Lester McKeever, CPA, was presented the AICPA Gold Medal Award of Distinction. McKeever has served as Chicago's chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, chair of United Way, chair of the Urban league and board treasurer of the University of Illinois.
William Collins, CPA, addressed the Council of the California Society of CPAs on Nov 2, 2011. At age 92, he was the oldest African American CPA in the nation, and had quite a few stories to tell about his path to success.
