Dara is the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area Offices
managing partner and is the national leader of RSM’s government contracting
practice. As the market leader, she is responsible for the culture, growth and
strategy of the 4 Washington area offices and developing our employees to have
deep industry expertise and to be first choice advisors to the middle market,
globally. Leading this practice includes working with closely held, private
equity backed, and publicly traded entities in the market to deliver the Power
of Being Understood.
In her industry
leadership role, Dara leads teams across audit, tax and consulting as advisors
to government contractors across a variety of industries, customer bases and
organizational structures. She draws upon the vast resources of RSM to design
teams that bring value to government contract clients leveraging RSM’s deep
knowledge, experience and capabilities in serving this complex and dynamic
industry.
As the leader of
RSM’s Women’s Initiative, Dara focuses on the retention and advancement of RSM
women through the STAR employee network group. This work includes leading the
strategy and development of programs and initiatives that address gender
diversity in our workplace, workforce, community and marketplace. She often
speaks on women’s professional challenges and gender diversity issues in RSM and
professional organizations.

Hollis
Hanson-Pollock, CPA is a senior manager at Crowe LLP, where she focuses on
providing audit and consulting services to municipalities, community colleges,
school districts, and transportation agencies. In 2020 she completed a two-year
fellowship with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), where she
worked primarily on projects related to revenue and expense recognition, leases,
and the replacement of interbank offered rates. She is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society and is a
licensed CPA in the state of Illinois.
