Before launching his training company, Gregory spent 15
years helping high-growth organizations acquire and develop diverse talent,
build strong cultures, and earn “Top Workplace” recognition. He is
affectionately called “The Artist Formerly Known as HR” because he’s done
everything from full-cycle recruitment and redesigning onboarding to building
leadership development programs and mediating employee relations issues. Gregory
has coached and advised line managers, mentored emerging leaders, and served as
a thought partner to executive leadership.
Whether he’s presenting on the big stage, in a training
room, or broadcasting live from his custom-built
home studio—where he’s
delivered over 800 virtual workshops since 2020 alone—Gregory brings compelling
content, actionable takeaways, and contagious energy to every session. He’s most
widely known for his experiential presentation skills bootcamp and his new
manager training program.
Gregory is also widely recognized for his expertise in
facilitating candid and meaningful sessions about employee engagement,
inclusion, and belonging. There’s a reason that organizations like Allstate,
Collin College, Eli Lilly, FOX Sports, GATX, Omnicom Media Group, Sidley Austin
LLP, and Soho House have repeatedly booked Gregory to present. Gregory’s
insights have been featured in Huff Post and a variety of print, radio, and
podcast media platforms.
Gregory holds an M.B.A. from Roosevelt University, a
Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign, and
has earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
When he’s
not leading a session or creating new content, you’ll find him listening to
public radio or a
podcast, taking long walks, scouring the web for records to
add to his vinyl collection, or sticking to
his most consistent daily ritual:
eating a chocolate chip cookie. Every. Single. Day.
