This award recognizes an accounting firm or organization that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting its employees' professional growth, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, encouraging social responsibility, and driving innovation in the accounting or finance profession in the past year.

Eligibility: 

  1. The organization must actively support its employees in pursuing and obtaining the CPA credential through financial assistance, time off for studying, mentorship, or other resources.
  2. The organization must encourage and facilitate its employees' involvement in community service, charitable activities, or other socially responsible initiatives.
  3. The organization must demonstrate a commitment to creating a positive, welcoming, and inclusive workplace environment that values diversity and promotes employee well-being.
  4. The organization must show leadership in innovation, particularly in ways that positively impact the accounting or finance profession, whether through technology, processes, or other forward-thinking initiatives.
  5. The organization must have employees who hold the CPA credential and are members of the Illinois CPA Society.
  6. Past recipients of Illinois CPA Society organizational awards are eligible, but preference is given to those who have not received this award in the past five years.
