CHICAGO, April 7, 2020 – The CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois, the charitable partner of the Illinois CPA Society, is proud to announce its Board of Directors to serve April 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021.
“It’s an honor to once again serve as president of the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois and to lead a remarkable team of directors dedicated to enhancing and expanding the life-changing scholarship and outreach programs the fund provides,” says Sara J. Mikuta, CPA, CGMA, CIA, CRMA, partner at Wipfli LLP. “Our programs are replacing worries with hopes and are encouraging some of the most hardworking students in Illinois to become CPAs. I look forward to working with this board to collectively share our experiences and expertise to support students in need, reward them for their achievements, and to ultimately build a vital and vibrant pipeline of talent for the CPA profession.”
Last year, giving by more than 1,000 donors aided the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois in providing more than $200,000 in scholarship and outreach support to 185 diverse and deserving accounting students and future CPAs across Illinois.
