CHICAGO, June 7, 2019 – The Illinois CPA Society recently honored Nicole Presperin, CPA, Senior Director – New Ventures Group, Aon plc, with its 2019 Young Professional Leadership Award. Presperin was recognized for outstanding leadership skills in her career, for public or community service, and for her involvement in professional organizations.

She received the award on Tuesday, June 4 at the Illinois CPA Society’s annual Leadership Recognition and Awards Dinner in Chicago.

Prior to her current role at Aon, Presperin served as US Controller for its Commercial Risk Solutions Group, Finance Director for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions Group Americas and as Senior Manager of Global Consolidations.

Presperin is co-president for the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) auxiliary board. Additionally, she’s involved with the local RMH board of directors and also serves on the RMH auxiliary council alignment task force.

“I am incredibly lucky to learn from leaders who focus on trust, honesty and sponsorship,” Presperin said. “Their mentorship provides me with amazing opportunities to grow and develop and has inspired the type of leader I am today.”

Presperin earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
